For other countries, Electricaloutlet.org has a great summary of what adapter is required by country.

The electrical converter kit usually consists of a converter which will allow you to run electronics at 120 and 240 V, and popular socket connections. To use the kit with your electronics, switch your converter to the appropriate voltage for the country you are in. Then plug your electrical device into the converter. Next, plug the converter into the adapter required for the country you are in. Finally, plug the adapter into the wall and you are ready to use your electronic device.

Most kits consist of an 120 V to 240 V converter and popular adapters. If you are traveling to a country that isn't as popular, you will most likely need to buy your adapter separate.

You can purchase converter kits at your local electronic or travel store, or online at Amazon.com

Most modern day electronics, such as laptops and cameras, have power supplies that can accommodate a range of voltages from ~100V to ~240V. This means that you don't need a converter to use that piece of equipment, however, you would still need the adapter required for that country.

If you are going to bring a lot of electronics, such as a laptop, razor, camera, cell phone, iPOD, you may want 2 converters and 2 of every major connection piece, so you can charge two things at once.
